Moving right along ...

Proverbs 3: 3-6 (from The Message)
Don't lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.
Earn a reputation for living well
in God's eyes and the eyes of the people.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.

I’m cheating again, and showing you all a picture I painted a couple of years ago of a scene from the wine country of northern California, where Paul and I were visiting his parents. It’s breathtakingly beautiful up there! As you can see, my style at that time definitely leaned toward colorism.

Whew! ... time has gone by really fast this weekend! We’ve been busy with the big move ... and still a lot to do ... haven’t had much painting time. We’re sort of camping out to begin with, living in just a couple of rooms while we’ll work on the rest of the house. I go back and forth between “I’m getting too old for this!” and “wow! this is fun!” Mostly I’m joyful and excited about everything, even though there’s still so much to do ... probably at least a couple of years’ worth of work!

I should be able to start back on a regular painting schedule by tomorrow ... thanks for hanging in!

i am half jealous and half sorry for you - owning/working on an old house is a dream of mine - misdirected as it may be :)
