Full-On Springtime

Even though spring doesn’t officially begin for three more weeks, we are experiencing some gorgeous springtime weather at present. These post-frost, pre-mosquito days are my absolute favorite time of year. I went out gathering some of our hundreds of daffodils that are in bloom, some for us, some to share.

I’ve put daffodils on the coffee table in the parlor ...

... where Blue happens to be napping at the moment ...

... daffodils on the dining table ...

... daffodils right inside the front door ...

... even some beside the TV, to remind us of the ACTUAL world while we’re wandering around in TV land.

All those daffodils remind me of my grandmother's house. She lined her long front walk with them and over time the multiplied out into the yard. Your house is beautiful--so homey and warm. Thanks for sharing.

Denise: yeah, I think these are some of my favorites, too, along with hydrangea and irises ... glad you enjoyed the photos!

Virginia: Isn't it great how simple things can bring back such wonderful memories? These daffodils were planted here generations ago and still bringing smiles!

Elizabeth: Thanks! I know that you also know the joy of walking around the countryside taking photos of beautiful scenery ... such fun!

Kelley: Thanks so much! Sometimes it seemed like the work would never end (and even now it's still ongoing!) but now it's fun to take a breather and see what a long way we've come. Glad you like the flowers!
