OK gang, after almost ... um ... 3 weeks ... I’m back! The satellite is back up to full speed and so back to daily blogging.
I finished this little painting yesterday, and I'll list it tonight on eBay.
One major thing has happened while I was absent from the blogosphere. Our family has expanded by 2 new pups, rescues from down the road a piece. More on their story tomorrow ... meanwhile, here are their pics:
Here are Buster B and Tilda (short for Matilda).
Hasta mañana, mates!

glad youre back - i missed you and your beautiful work!!
tx for your comments on my blog - i do sense my own artistic growth too, and i gotta say, its a pretty awesome feeling.
These pups are gorgeous - your family is certainly growing :) and i am still jealous that i dont live out in the country :(
their coloring is just screaming to be painted i think!!
Beautiful painting - wonderful dogs! They look almost like Vizla's (I know i spelled that wrong!) but with black noses. Are they purebreds? Lucky them, to get a family like yours.
So glad you're back!
Thanks for the comments! I'm glad to be back on the blog.
Melanie - yep, I'm definitely planning some more doggie portraits of these guys in the very near future! I love the way the setting sun made their coats shine in these pics.
Kelley - I think they're mixed breed, but they do remind me of a pure bred something, especially Tilda. She looks like a show dog!
Krayon! I am glad u r back! I love reading your blog. Love the new pups! We have GOT to get together soon.
